How to process bentonite?
Bentonite is one of the most widely distributed clay mineral resources in nature. It has excellent properties such as water absorption, adsorption, suspension and dispersion. It has important applications in metallurgical pellets, drilling mud, cat litter and other fields.
According to the physical characteristics of bentonite, the front end is sodium-treated by a sodium-oxidizing machine, and then the sodium-treated bentonite is dried by a dryer. The grinding process of bentonite is as follows:
First of all, the bulk bentonite is crushed by the crusher to the feed fineness (15mm-50mm) that can enter the mill.
Next, grinding. The crushed small pieces of bentonite are sent to the silo by the elevator, and then sent to the grinding chamber of the mill for grinding by the vibrating feeder. LM vertical mill, MTW European mill and 5X European intelligent mill can be selected for fine powder processing; LUM superfine vertical mill and MW ring roll superfine mill are generally selected for superfine powder processing.
Then it is grading. The bentonite powder after grinding is graded by the powder concentrator, and the unqualified powder is returned to the host machine for re grinding after being graded by the powder concentrator.
Finally, the powder is collected. The powder that meets the fineness flows through the pipeline into the dust collector for separation and collection. The collected finished powder is sent to the finished product silo through the outlet by the conveyor, and then uniformly packaged with a powder loading tanker or an automatic packer.
